Three Catalyst projects to be showcased at Management World 2008 will include participation by Amdocs. They will demonstrate how charging for Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) services may be accomplished using its Customer Experience Systems (CES) product portfolio. In addition, their CES can be used for the management of network capacity and network service quality for triple-play services. They will also exhibit a solution for measuring and analyzing customer video viewing as part of the TM Forum Prosspero Program. Another Amdocs demonstration will cover the use of TM Forum initiatives and best practices in the areas of billing, payments, and settlements for digital media services, as part of the event. GSM Footprint of America Movil Increases with Entrance into the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico Markets with Amdocs Billing

Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, announced the success of a three-month project to establish Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) billing operations at America Movil’s subsidiary in the Dominican Republic - Claro Codetel. Amdocs also announced it was selected for an additional project to roll out GSM billing operations at America Movil’s subsidiary in Puerto Rico - Claro. Amdocs Billing has been supporting services based on Code and Time Division Multiple Access (CDMA and TDMA) standards at Claro Codetel in the Dominican Republic and at Claro in Puerto Rico for the past six years and is now being extended to support the introduction of GSM and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) voice, data and roaming offerings. Amdocs Completes Acquisition of Cramer Systems

(Cramer), a leading provider of operations support systems (OSS). Amdocs acquired all of Cramer’s shares of capital stock for approximately $375 million in cash, net of cash on hand, subject to post-closing adjustments.

Amdocs Limited Reports 23% Growth in Revenue to a Record $626 Million

Amdocs Limited (NYSE: DOX) today reported that for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, revenue was $626.4 million, an increase of 23.5% from last year’s third quarter. Excluding acquisition-related costs, which include amortization of purchased intangible assets and the write-off of in-process research and development and excluding equity-based compensation expense, net of related tax effects, of $20.6 million, net income on a non-GAAP basis was $106.2 million, or $0.49 per diluted share, compared to non-GAAP net income, excluding $1.7 million of acquisition-related costs net of related tax effects, of $78.8 million, or $0.37 per diluted share, in the third quarter of fiscal 2005. The Company’s net income was $85.6 million, or $0.39 per diluted share, compared to net income of $77.1 million, or $0.36 per diluted share, in the third quarter of fiscal 2005. Free cash flow, defined as cash flow from operations less net capital expenditures and principal payments on capital leases, was $94 million in the quarter. (more…)

Verizon adds 1.5 million customers in second quarter

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Verizon Wireless, the second-largest U.S. mobile service provider, said on Tuesday it added 1.5 million customers in the second quarter, roughly matching some Wall Street expectations.

The venture between Verizon Communications Inc and Vodafone Group Plc said the growth took its total subscriber base to 68.7 million, including 66.7 million retail customers.

Growth in the second quarter was in line with Stifel Nicolaus' forecast of 1.5 million subscriber additions, but above a Bank of America forecast for 1.34 million.
