TELUS Deploys MetraTech Billing Solution

Posted on April 6, 2007 Written by oss

MetraTech Corp., the leading provider of Web Services-based billing, customer self-care, and partner management solutions, has recently said that TELUS (TSX: T, T.A; NYSE: TU), a leading national telecommunications company in Canada, has deployed MetraNet as its billing solution for enterprise customers using audio conferencing services.

TELUS is among the first customers to fully deploy MetraNet version 5.0, released in 2006. MetraNet 5.0 represents a revolution in business modeling. It supports complex customer and service relationships that the system user can tailor intuitively to match how business organisations organise themselves.

“We chose MetraTech as our billing partner because its innovative platform can quickly provide the functionality necessary to support discriminating customers. The right billing solution is critical, not just for us but also as an enabler for our enterprise customers who are increasingly utilizing a sophisticated range of audio, video, and web-based services,” said Brian MacIntosh, TELUS vice-president, Collaboration Solutions.

Commented Scott Swartz, Chief Executive Officer, MetraTech Corp, “in selecting MetraNet, TELUS has recognised that the increasingly unique telecommunications services the enterprise market in particular is demanding require an equally unique financial transaction management solution to support them. MetraTech’s record in meeting the demands of such sophisticated requirements is unrivalled.”
