Columbus Communications and Sigma Systems unveiled a deal that expands the long-standing relationship between the companies. According to the terms of the multi-year license agreement, Sigma will extend its existing deployment, which automates the fulfillment of high-speed data services and applications, to cover broadband voice over IP (VoIP). Equinox Software Solutions Purchased by Sovernet Communications to Support Multi-switch Network

Equinox Information Systems, which is Nashville-based, announced that Sovernet Communications licensed a suite of Equinox software applications:TeleLink, Manager, and TeleScope.

Sovernet Communications selected the TeleLink mediation system to automate its usage record transmission process by filtering and converting usage data for use by downstream operational support systems (OSS). Manager monitors network performance and activity in detail by analyzing traditional switch as well as VoIP usage data, and TeleScope analyzes international traffic from both a network and financial perspective.
