Telsasoft Receives Order for Set of CDMA Call Detail Record Reports

Telsasoft, a Telecommunications Service Assurance Software Company Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has recently received an order for a set of CDMA CDR (Call Detail Record) reports from a regional CDMA Network Service Operator. MTA Wireless of Wasilla, Alaska, has deployed a set of CDMA CDR (Call Detail Record) reports from Telsasoft to complement their next generation integrated OSS network management solution that they also purchased from Telsasoft for their CDMA2000 1x network infrastructure. EMC and Intec and Sensage Technology to Identify Terrorist Activity in Call Detail Records

EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC), Intec Telecom Systems (LSE: ITL.L) and SenSage, Inc. have pooled their resources to provide a comprehensive, cost effective solution to answer the mandates of the EU Data Retention Directive. The combined technologies tackle two issues. First, it provides telecommunication and Internet service providers with a lower cost means to manage communication records that support compliance with the Directive. Second, it enables law enforcement agencies to quickly access historical phone and Internet records to pinpoint and prosecute terrorist activity and other serious crime. Coastal Technologies Group CMP Platform Improves Call Detail Record Searches

Coastal Technologies Group Inc. (CTGi), a leader in call detail processing, back-office accounting process and OSS support for the telecommunications industry, has announced enhanced Call Detail Record (CDR) search capabilities on its industry-leading ASP Call Management Platform (CMP). The new search enhancements can be based on any number of search criteria, by LATA, 10-digit phone number, switch id, or trunk, in order to perform exhaustive trend analysis, auditing, market intelligence and overall usage analytics.

“Tier 1 carriers generate billions of call detail records every day. They are under increasing pressure to process these CDRs quickly for further analysis, from resolving interconnect billing disputes, to better understanding network call routing patterns, to complying with law enforcement to investigate call pattern analysis,” said Jay Bowker, vice president of marketing and worldwide sales for Coastal Technologies Group.

Coastal Technologies Group has also announced that it has upgraded its CMP Dashboard, an easy-to-use monitoring tool which provides a near real-time window into regular processing status, usage volume and quality control metrics of call detail records. [Read more…]
