Meteor Mobile Communications has selected Ericsson’s real-time charging solution, Charging System CS3.0, for its combined GSM and 3G services in Ireland. Under the terms of the agreement, Ericsson has supplied Meteor with its Charging System 3.0, providing the mobile operator with functionality such as real-time costs and spending control, flexible special promotions capability and real-time bonus applications. Clarity Announces Field Service Manager Solution

New module tightly integrated to Clarity’s Unified OSS platform

Clarity announced the commercial launch of a workforce management module that is tightly integrated to its Unified OSS solution: Clarity Field Service Manager (CFSM). It is the industry’s first COTS-based workforce management product to be tightly integrated to a common inventory, fulfilment, and assurance suite within a singular database model. The CFSM offers new levels of out-of-the-box business process automation in both the fulfillment and assurance domains and will be a unique offering to Tier 1 fixed line and wireless operators globally. Equinox Information Systems, which is Nashville-based, announced that Sovernet Communications licensed a suite of Equinox software applications:TeleLink, Manager, and TeleScope.

Sovernet Communications selected the TeleLink mediation system to automate its usage record transmission process by filtering and converting usage data for use by downstream operational support systems (OSS). Manager monitors network performance and activity in detail by analyzing traditional switch as well as VoIP usage data, and TeleScope analyzes international traffic from both a network and financial perspective.
