Over 150 Carriers are Leveraging Business Information Exchange to Reduce Costs, Increase Visibility, and Strengthen Overall Intercarrier Business Relationships

iXLink ®, announced that more than one million business transactions have been processed through iXLink. More than 150 carriers worldwide are now using iXLink to automatically exchange business information with their trading partners.

Founded in conjunction with some of the world’s largest carriers as a neutral business exchange service for the telecom industry, iXLink reduces the costs and complexities associated with interconnection including the purchase and sales processes; international dial code management; billing; invoice validation and settlement. iXLink’s flexible design supports fixed, mobile and VoIP service providers of any size, location or technical sophistication. By electronically exchanging business data and documents, carriers can streamline their interconnection management processes as well as reduce the complexity and administrative costs surrounding daily interconnect transactions.

Last month, iXLink introduced its newest service, iXLink Price List Distribution, that automates the selling process for international wholesale voice. This robust offer management and workflow solution allows service providers to simplify and automate the sales processes within their wholesale interconnect business. The service manages the distribution of international hubbing and refile price lists by applying customized formatting and ensuring the automatic distribution of the price lists in XLS or CSV formats via email. Based on the configuration chosen by the seller, the price lists can be further enhanced with additional data including time band definitions, rounding rules, destination changes and rate change indicators.

“iXLink is fundamentally redefining how the world’s carriers conduct business with one another,” said Don Lynch, CEO of Telarix. “By providing electronic delivery, transmission and analysis of the multitude of interconnect business documents service providers receive each month, carriers are reducing the costs and complexity associated with managing today’s interconnect agreements.”

Recently the Yankee Group called iXLink an effective solution to reduce miscommunication and lost data in the telecom industry. A copy of the Yankee Group report can be available at the iXLink website: http://www.ixlink.com
