Telenet Deploys Formula Telecom Solutions’ Next Generation Leap Business Control Engine

Formula Telecom Solutions, Ltd. (LSE: FTS – News), a provider of Business Control, Billing and CRM solutions for service and content providers and the telecom industry, has announced that Telenet, Belgium’s largest provider of broadband services, has deployed FTS’ Leap Business Control Engine (Leap BCE(TM)) to perform real-time business control and rating of multi-play services. Using Leap BCE, Telenet can easily launch new services and formulate strategic business rules for dynamic, real-time responses to both service and subscriber-related events.

Leap BCE is a robust business rule engine capable of capturing, analyzing, and taking action on real-time events generated by subscribers, the network, and other solution components. It enables provider personnel to define, deploy, and manage new services through its simple-to-use GUI, without the need for new code. The product is a true multi-play platform capable of integrating simultaneously with various networks like wireline, wireless, mobile, cable, and IP, providing cross-product service plans. Argent Networks Acquires Australian Telecommunications Solutions Company Integration Management

New Zealand technology and telecommunications company Argent Networks announced today that it has acquired Australian telecommunications solutions company Integration Management. As an operational support system (OSS) provider, Integration Management (IM) provides revenue assurance and settlement solution software to some of the largest telecommunications carriers in Australia, Asia, the Middle East and theUnited States including AAPT, Telecom NZ, Celcom of Malaysia, PLDT of the Philippines, and Indosat of Indonesia. With offices in Sydney, Singapore and Denver, Colorado, IM has a strong reputation for its technologically advanced products like in>Bill in the voice interconnect, content management and wholesale verification categories.

Argent already has a number of blue-chip clients in the Australian and New Zealand market, including Telstra and Virgin Mobile.
