Formula Telecoms Solutions (LSE: FTS), a global provider of Business Control, billing & CRM for communication and content providers, has announced that it has changed its name to FTS. After years of innovation in the industry, FTS has undergone a wide re-branding effort to more accurately reflect its visionary position.

NetCracker Technology has announced that the company has been selected by Golden Telecom, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLDN) to help streamline the operator’s back office operations and service provisioning processes. The agreement makes NetCracker a part of Golden Telecom’s project aimed at building a single homogeneous network information system. Golden Telecom is a leading facilities-based provider of integrated telecommunications and Internet services in major population centers throughout Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS.) COMCOR Russia Chooses Comptel Convergent Network Inventory Solution

Berg Insight Says Mobile Location-Based Services Revenues to Reach 622 Million in Europe

Revenues from mobile location-based services (LBS) in the European market will grow by 34 percent annually to reach about $622 million in 2010, according to a new report from the research firm Berg Insight. Johan Fagerberg, senior analyst at Berg Insight, said that the market is picking up speed through successful launches of mobile personal navigation services and location based billing plans in several European countries.

“Nokia’s recent acquisition of Gate5 is an evident example of the importance mobile industry players attach to navigation”, said Johan. “We expect GPS-enabled handsets with preinstalled navigation software to become available from the leading brands on the European market very soon.” Berg Insight forecasts that navigation will account for 48 percent of mobile LBS revenues in 2010. ACE-COMM Reports Results for the Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2006

ACE*COMM Corporation (NASDAQ:ACEC), a global provider of network business intelligence and advanced operations support systems (OSS) solutions, today reported financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2006, both ending June 30, 2006.

For the year ended June 30, 2006, the Company recorded revenues of $26.7 million, compared to $20.0 million for fiscal year 2005. The Company had net income and income per fully diluted share of $0.3 million and $0.02, respectively, compared to a net loss and loss per fully diluted share of $6.5 million and $0.44 for fiscal year 2005. Revenues for the fourth quarter 2006 totaled $6.5 million compared to $6.8 million for the same quarter in fiscal year 2005. Net loss for the quarter was $0.5 million, or $0.03 per fully diluted share, compared to net income of $0.3 million, or $0.02 per fully diluted share for the same quarter a year ago. [Read more…]
