Convergys Updates Third Quarter Guidance
Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer care, human resources, and billing services, has updated its guidance for the third quarter, 2006. Convergys expects net revenues to exceed $700 million and earnings per diluted share of $0.30 or more in this period.
Convergys had previously said it expected earnings per diluted share to be $0.27 to $0.28 for the quarter. Convergys will release its third quarter results on October 25, and will host a conference call the same day at 10:00 AM, EDT, to discuss those results. Subex Azure Ltd, the world’s largest vendor of revenue maximization solutions for telecom operators, has announced that it has won a contract to provide its fraud management system to Safaricom Ltd, the Kenyan mobile services provider.
Safaricom is the largest mobile operator in Kenya with a customer base of 4.4 million subscribers.
