Oracle Acquires MetaSolv

MetaSolv, Inc. (NASDAQ: MSLV), a global leader in service fulfillment operations support system (OSS) solutions for next-generation communications service providers, has announced that Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) has agreed to acquire MetaSolv through a cash merger for $4.10 per share, or approximately $219.2 million. MetaSolv Reports Increased Second Quarter Revenues

MetaSolv, Inc. (Nasdaq:MSLV), a leader in comprehensive operations support systems solutions for next-generation communications service providers, has announced their financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Revenues for the quarter increased 8% to $25.4 million, compared to second quarter 2005 revenues of $23.4 million. MetaSolv reported net income for the second quarter of $649,000, or $0.01 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $663,000, or $0.02 per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2005. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and stock compensation expense (”adjusted EBITDA”) for the quarter was $2.4 million, an increase of 108% compared to $1.1 million in the prior year. Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $1.7 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $113,000, or $0.00 per diluted share for the second quarter of 2005. (more…)
