New license win with Large Tier 1 operator for MetaSolv’s M6 inventory and order management solution

PLANO, TEXAS, November 16, 2005 – MetaSolv Software, Inc., a global leader in comprehensive operational support system solutions for next-generation communications service providers, today announced a new multi-million dollar agreement with a major Tier 1, U.S.-based wireless and wireline service provider who has selected M6 – MetaSolv’s next-generation order and inventory management solution – to manage wholesale voice services.

This U.S.-based global provider of wireless, local, data and Internet services newly licensed M6 to manage voice services, both circuit and packet-based (VoIP) to support the anticipated growth of their wholesale cable partner initiative. The operator will leverage MetaSolv’s M6 to manage key inventory functions including telephone number management and provide comprehensive ordering capabilities to automate service orders, including regulated Local Service Requests (LSRs) with incumbent local exchange carriers.

MetaSolv’s M6 was selected as a result of an intensive formal competitive evaluation process. The service provider selected MetaSolv for inventory and order management due to its ability to provide rich out-of-the-box functionality, rapid time to deploy the solution and ongoing operational cost and service automation benefits. MetaSolv’s M6 will integrate with the operator’s existing systems to provide seamless flow-through capabilities and enable its wholesale partners to submit service orders for completion.
