McGraw Communications Chooses Info Directions OSS BSS Solution

1:48 am   -   December 14th, 2006

Info Directions, a leading developer of billing, rating, order management, workflow and selling solutions for the telecommunications industry, has announced that New York City-based service provider McGraw Communications Inc. has extended their relationship with the decision to implement the CostGuard.NET OSS/BSS software and the enhanced OnlineBill electronic bill payment and presentment solutions. McGraw Communications will use CostGuard.NET and OnlineBill in the Info Directions ASP to manage rating, billing, operations, customer care and EBPP functions for its rapidly growing subscriber base.

McGraw Communications provides local, long distance, VoIP, data, Internet and video services to small and mid-size business customers, offering them the same advanced communications technologies enjoyed by Fortune 500 companies. McGraw Communications, established in 1996, has experienced an annual growth rate of more than 40 percent over the past three years. The company implemented its first CostGuard system in 2003 and will use CostGuard.NET to create an end-to-end solution that responds rapidly to changing business needs, guards against technology obsolescence, and provides flexible product management capabilities.

With the upgrade to CostGuard.NET, McGraw Communications will add a workflow module that streamlines manual processes, uses business rules to support and enforce operations, provisions local services electronically, and provides end users with advanced features for managing their accounts online. The first telecommunications OSS/BSS developed on Microsoft’s .NET platform, CostGuard.NET delivers significant bottom line benefits for communications providers serving diverse markets.

“With CostGuard.NET as our operations and billing system, we will have a comprehensive solution that really focuses on our needs as a business, helping us automate activities and bringing new capabilities to build on the superior support and service that our clients have come to expect,” said Barbara Dunn, COO/CFO. “As we continue our growth path, the ability to leverage CostGuard.NET’s flexibility for new marketing efforts and scale effectively will provide the foundation for our success today and in the future.”

“We congratulate McGraw Communications on its continued success and are pleased to have the opportunity to present our latest product to an organization that delivers quality products and service to its customers,” said Donald Culeton, president of Info Directions. “McGraw Communications’ use of CostGuard.NET to boost efficiency and provide additional end user features is another example of the company’s desire to continuously add value as a service provider.”
