Intec Announces Partnership to Bolster Russia CIS and Eastern Europe Market Reach

Posted on February 26, 2009 Written by oss

Intec, a global provider of business and operations support systems (OSS/BSS), has announced a collaborative partnership with Seavus Group, the software consulting and development company, to jointly drive business opportunities in Russia, the CIS and across Eastern Europe. Seavus has extensive global experience in designing, developing and implementing OSS/BSS solutions for partners and clients alike, and gives Intec a strongly enhanced local presence to drive both sales and deployment capabilities.

The Intec/Seavus partnership will provide quality professional services and outsourcing support for Wholesale Business Management Solution (WBMS), including InterconnecT, Total Service Mediation including IntermediatE and Singl.eView for pre- and post-paid convergent billing. The move is set to increase Intec’s presence in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe complimenting the company’s already strong presence in EMEA, and provides significant growth opportunities for both companies.

“Though the Russian market is highly saturated, it remains extremely competitive so operators have to do all they can to minimise churn, while attracting new subscribers,” commented Gary Burch, Intec VP for EMEA. “No other billing and mediation technology offers the level of flexibility and scalability required to help operators drive competitive edge and operational efficiencies. Working alongside Seavus gives us a highly professional partner, with whom we can develop an even stronger presence in some of the biggest mobile markets in Eastern Europe.”

“We are delighted to be working alongside Intec and are looking forward to a highly collaborative, mutually beneficial relationship,” added Igor Lestar, CEO of Seavus.
“Our market-leading service skills, alongside Intec’s experience and reputation for world-class delivery, create a highly compelling proposition which all our current and future customers are set to benefit from.”

Intec’s existing office in Moscow will now be supplemented by an additional solution-skilled professional services resource, located in Minsk, where Seavus’ Belarus office is located. In addition to its US and UK offices, and HQ in Malmo, Sweden, Seavus also has offices in Macedonia, Serbia, Latvia and Amsterdam.
