Comarch recognized amongst Representative Vendors in CSP Operations Support System solutions by Gartner, the world's leading research and advisory company.
“Including Comarch in the report, in our opinion, confirms our strong position as an innovation leader amongst other OSS vendors on the market” – says Dominik Pacewicz, Head of Product Management at Comarch. “We have been delivering real-time OSS, that’s supporting 5G, edge computing, network slicing, AI/ML and IoT for our clients with success for some time now, and this recognition in the report is just another proof of our expertise in that matter.”
Key findings of the report conclude that the process of OSS transformation is still relatively slow within network-based operators, while “OSS product vendors are increasingly aligning their product evolution to automation of services and resource management requirements in addition to anticipated edge, multi-cloud management and 5G related requirements in CSPs”. And while many of the communication service providers concentrate on digital transformation of their operation systems, they also believe that vendors support in that matter is yet very limited compared to the desired level (“Many CSPs are focused on evolving their OSS for digital operations. With a new architecture, they see the need to evolve in-house software engineering capabilities as they find limited support from the vendor community on a number of important things such as limited multidomain/technology support, cloud-native readiness and open APIs”).
