eserve global

eServGlobal Limited (LSE: ESG & ASX: ESV), a provider of end-to-end solutions, enabling smart communication and payment services for service providers on any generation network, told OSS News Review today that its messaging clients achieved 100% message delivery for a record peak of SMS and MMS traffic over the holiday period.

Across eServGlobal’s client base, end users sent over 1.5 billion messages during the 11 days over Christmas and New Year, and one client experienced a peak of 2500 messages per second at the height of activity. eServGlobal has messaging clients in Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and New Zealand.

With its virtual location cache register component, MessageMax protects clients’ HLR, Short Message Service Centre (SMSC) and signaling network from overload, ensuring a holiday period completely free from congestion, and a very high rate of first delivery attempts. MessageMax also obtains prepaid authorization in real-time to ensure payment continuity.

To make messaging more valuable, and connect with third-party messaging platforms (IM, email), eServGlobal’s MessageMax offers a single box solution that provides intelligent cost-effective routing, network optimisation and a personalised message centre which gives subscribers greater control over the messages they receive.

Laurent Lafarge, Chief Executive Officer of eServGlobal said “We are proud to deliver our messaging and charging solutions to support our clients’ peak traffic demands. Our standard installation of MessageMax only requires 20% of its normal capacity to provide a smooth service at peak times, and so our clients can benefit from the remaining capacity to support sustained future growth.”
