Tango Telecom, the leading provider of Policy Control, Real-Time Charging & Advanced Messaging solutions, has today announced the general availability of Release 2.0 of the Tango Telecom iAX™ SMS IP-SM Gateway, with enhanced features to support message interworking and protect valuable messaging revenues as operators transition to all IP LTE/IMS networks.
LTE/IMS core networks are beginning to be rolled out globally, but to date have been predominantly used only for broadband access. The widespread uptake of this new technology and its fast time to revenue and to return on investment depend on the rapid transition of popular revenue earning services such as messaging from older technologies to an all IP core.
