Microtronix® Datacom Ltd. has recently unveiled their latest low cost IP solution for Telco’s looking to economically update their legacy X.25 Call Billing Record collection systems. The Microtronix AMATPS Collection System is targeted at Telco’s currently using obsolete X.25 cards and dial-up modems to collect billing records from remote switches.

Microtronix’s latest offering is a simple to install, complete solution comprising of both hardware and software. The solution includes: Web based management software and the Microtronix AMA record collection suite, pre-installed on a rack mountable server and a Microtronix BX.25 – TCP/IP gateway.

The AMATPS Collection System is compatible with 5ESS, EWSD and DMS families of telephone switches and is easily scalable to add any number of Network Elements.
