(NASDAQ-EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market and regional partner Accenture Pte Ltd, has recently announced that it has been selected by a convergent telecoms operator in Indonesia to provide next generation service activation solutions.
The Company made the strategic decision to consolidate and streamline its OSS infrastructure in order to support its aggressive growth strategy. As part of a wider project to replace the CRM system, it also decided to replace the service activation system. It was becoming increasingly difficult to launch new services quickly and cost-effectively as well as support the rapidly increasing number of subscribers.
After a competitive evaluation, Evolving Systems’ Tertio™ Service Activation solution was selected for its off-the-shelf packaged capability and its ability to scale and support the operator’s subscriber growth plans. Evolving Systems will provide the core solution technology, as well as related technical and agent development services. Accenture will develop custom functionality, service logic, configuration of business rules and provide dedicated in-country support.
