Comarch Offers an End-to-End WiMAX Solution

Posted on June 11, 2008 Written by oss

Comarch will announce its compact WiMAX OSS/BSS solution during the WiMAX Forum Global Congress, June 17th-18th, 2008, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

As a software vendor and integrator, the firm offers WiMAX providers a comprehensive proposal that facilitates a quick startup and one that is based on a proven and ready-to-use solution. Providers have greater freedom and can choose only the functionalities they require, as the solution is built from functional blocks.

“We can observe a growing number of requests for billing and customer management solutions from providers starting or expanding to WiMAX business,” said Tymoteusz Wrona, Senior Consultant, Comarch SA. “WiMAX makes it possible to deliver broadband internet, VoIP, premium services, and IPTV services. WiMAX operators are seeking a comprehensive solution that is fast to deploy and enables customer management, services handling, billing and logistics features.”

Comarch’s end-to-end WiMAX solution is a platform for telecommunication operators and other service providers who require fast introduction of new modern services for their customers. It covers the entire process of product preparation: defining service details, publishing, and selling the services over available sales channels, activation, control, billing, and monitoring as well as reporting.

This organization is ready to deliver a compact WiMAX solution that is based on mature pre-configured BSS/OSS modules. Such an approach reduces the deployment time and because it is an open solution it is adaptable to future technologies such as LTE.
