Tuesday September 1, 2020 – Reading, UK – Today, VOSS Solutions announced that BCX has become the latest company to migrate from Cisco Unified Communications Domain Manager (CUCDM) to VOSS-4-UC. Additionally, BCX have adopted the majority of the VOSS portfolio of UC management tools, including VOSS Assurance, and VOSS M2UC migration tools to transition their customers onto the upgraded platform in just 6 weeks.
Headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa, BCX is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Telkom Group, is a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure and solutions combining local market understanding and industry expertise. The company is a supplier of end-to-end hosted collaboration solutions and is committed to providing comprehensive Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) to its customers.
Due to changes in the Hosted Collaboration Solution landscape, BCX opted to move to VOSS-4-UC under the VOSS “Fast Start” migration programme. This migration necessitated the following adjustments:
Carrying out a health check of the existing customers and service
Moving these customers to VOSS-4-UC
Providing training to get BCX equipped to provide world class support during and after the migration

BCX now has full access to all the new features within VOSS-4-UC, including multi-vendor support for Microsoft Teams. The complete migration process from CUCDM to VOSS-4-UC took just six weeks. Now functioning optimally on VOSS-4-UC, BCX will benefit from advanced levels of automation, including zero-touch workflows, supporting their aggressive growth plans.
In addition to electing to extend their Unified Collaboration management capabilities, BCX also chose the VOSS Assurance and Analytics capability. The organisation can now access advanced, proactive monitoring, fault detection, reporting and analytics to improve productivity and save on operational costs. The VOSS Assurance suite resolves problems quickly and gives BCX a deep understanding of their UC service quality, inventory and license usage.
