Yankee Group and Cisco and FTS to Demonstrate Business Control Layer in Seminar

7:32 pm   -   November 6th, 2006

FTS (Formula Telecom Solutions), the original creators of Business Control Layer, Cisco Systems, and telecom analysts Yankee Group will demonstrate how telcom service providers can improve revenues and increase their customer satisfaction using the Business Control Layer from FTS. This free road show is open to all telecom service providers at the Kaffeebörse in Hamburg on 15th November and the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London on 16th November.

During this road show and seminar, telecom Service Providers can learn how Telenet used FTS’s Leap Business Control Engine (Leap BCE) and Cisco’s SCE to achieve higher revenues. This was a forty percent reduction in customer service calls, reduction in churn and an increase in overall customer satisfaction. Attendees of this road show and seminar can also learn how they can create IMS-like capabilities using their current network infrastructure.

Business Control Layer is a software layer in the service providers’ infrastructure residing between the network/OSS and the BSS. It enables telecom operators to dynamically adapt network or service behavior in response to their customer interaction. This results in higher revenue and higher customer satisfaction. The system allows telecom service providers to capture events in real-time and responding in real-time based on a pre-configured set of business policies or actions, such as sending the subscriber a message, changing service QoS, provisioning, balance management or rating to name a few.

The road show and seminar will feature the following presentations in both London and Hamburg, between 8.30am and 12.45pm including a complementary lunch:

- “Making Money in Today”s Market”, Yair Sakov, VP Marketing, FTS
- “Leap BCE Demo”, Eric Klein, Product Manager, FTS
- “Enhancing Revenue with Service Control and DPI”, Bryn Teasdale, Worldwide Business Development Manager, Cisco
- “Market Trends”, Andy Bairsto, Senior Analyst Software Solutions, Yankee Group

Event Locations:
Hamburg, Germany: Ehemalige Kaffeebörse, Pickhuben 3, 20457 Hamburg
London, UK: Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED

Service Providers can secure their place at this free seminar by contacting Hamburg_event@fts-soft.com for the Hamburg event or London_event@fts-soft.com for the London event, no later than November 13th.
