US LEC Launches Nationwide Dedicated Internet
US LEC Corp. (Nasdaq: CLEC), a full-service provider of IP, data and voice solutions to businesses and enterprise organizations throughout the Eastern United States, today announced the launch of its nationwide dedicated Internet service that delivers advanced data and dedicated Internet solutions across the United States.
“A major focus for US LEC continues to center around developing solutions that benefit our customers’ existing and ever-expanding locations,” said Jeff Blackey, US LEC senior vice president of marketing and business development. “US LEC now has the capability to answer our customers’ current and future Internet demands with nationwide T-1 service.”
US LEC’s nationwide dedicated Internet service offers several benefits to businesses. First, customers can purchase Internet access from one vendor, improving operational and cost efficiencies. In addition, businesses benefit from utilizing US LEC’s dedicated customer account teams as the single point of contact for all service, support and billing issues. US LEC also provides businesses with free access to PowerVIEW(SM), US LEC’s customer portal through which customers can view or download additional, customized billing data and usage reports for individual locations or the entire business, providing a clearer picture of a company’s communications services.

The addition of nationwide dedicated Internet adds to the company’s existing national product suite that includes frame relay, ATM, data backup and recovery, data center services, Web hosting, audio conferencing, Web-enhanced audio conferencing, E-mail Defense(SM), e-mail spooling, managed router, PowerSUITE(SM), managed firewall/VPN, DSL, dial-up Internet access, MegaPOP(SM) wholesale dial up and VoIP and VoiceEclipse(SM) retail VoIP.
