Traffix Presents the Revolutionary NGN Gateway, Rosetta Diameter Gateway

10:20 am   -   October 16th, 2008

Traffix Systems announced today the release of the Rosetta Diameter Gateway.

This solution enables service providers to exchange control and AAA information directly between various legacy protocols such as RADIUS, LDAP and HTTP and Diameter, based Next Generation Networks.

This robust product can be used in various IMS and NGN deployments to facilitate integration, reduce costs, increase revenues and provide services that would not be possible otherwise.

This application enables service providers to connect and align services and functionalities across the legacy and NGN domains, to utilize existing infrastructure and to provide unified subscriber management and charging. Furthermore, the Rosetta Gateway enables new NGN services to be implemented alongside existing legacy systems.

It is based on the reliable and scalable Traffix Core platform and added functionalities such as Diameter load balancing, Diameter security and mediation can be easily added to it.

Traffix is leading the Control Plane and Diameter market, with more than 100 vendor and service provider customers. Traffix solutions are deployed by more than a dozen Tier-1 operators. The long awaited Rosetta Diameter Gateway is the new addition to Traffix product portfolio of Control Plane and Diameter solutions. This new announcement places Traffix’s Rosetta Gateway as the only complete Diameter Gateway solution tuned for service providers IMS and NGN needs.

The Rosetta Gateway enables service providers to cap the investments in legacy technology, providing a way to use legacy services and new services simultaneously. The Rosetta Gateway lowers NGN costs and service launch time. It is now available from Traffix Systems.
