Traffix is First to Provide Full Support for Entire Range of IMS Diameter Protocol Interfaces

Traffix Systems, the pioneering Next Generation Building Blocks company has announced that its OpenBloXâ„¢ Diameter framework product has successfully completed testing and has full support for the entire set of 3GPP and 3GPP2 Diameter interfaces.

With this announcement Traffix becomes the first company to supply the market with full implementation and support for the entire set of 3GPP and 3GPP2 Diameter interfaces and reference points up to the latest available 3GPP Release 7 specifications.

The OpenBloXâ„¢ AAA Diameter framework is an Open Source software package implementing 3GPP and 3GPP2 Diameter specifications. The package contains at minimum the Diameter base protocol (as described by IETF RFC 3588) and any extensions provided by the 3GPP and 3GPP2 specification bodies.

Traffix released its telco optimized OpenBloX™ Diameter implementation engulfing all of the more than thirty defined IMS Diameter protocol based interfaces. Traffix’s unique technological lead offers network equipment providers unmatched performance, scalability and reliability.
