Subex Reaches for Accelerated Delivery of Next-generation Services with the Launch of WiMAX-enabled Fulfillment Solution

10:50 pm   -   May 20th, 2008

Subex Limited announced the availability of its WiMAX-enabled Syndesis Express solution, designed to help operators to quickly and efficiently define and deliver value-added, next-generation services, like VoIP and IPTV, over WiMAX.

Syndesis Express, a pre-integrated solution bundle that provides subscriber-centric fulfillment for high-speed internet, IPTV, VoIP, and other advanced service offerings, now allows service providers to seamlessly introduce and automate the delivery of WiMAX-based services to their customers, across multi-vendor, multi-technology networks.

“Service providers are looking for new ways of bridging the last mile to the customer for residential and enterprise broadband services and WiMAX is gaining increasing acceptance as an access technology,” said Mark Nicholson, CTO of Subex. “The key to competitiveness and profitability is an un-matched customer experience via end-to-end service quality. Our new WiMAX enabled Express solution enables service providers to easily and automatically translate complex service quality requirements into the underlying WiMAX QoS attributes and also ensure that the traffic is correctly handled by the aggregation metro and core networks.”

Costly provisioning errors are minimized with the solution’s flow-through automation and industry leading data accuracy, increasing service provider responsiveness for improved customer satisfaction. The new Express solution enables service providers to easily deliver WiMAX-based broadband services and value-added services from a single provisioning platform, reducing integration costs and providing a unified platform for applications, fixed-line and wireless services. In addition, Express can be used to seamlessly offer next-generation services over multiple access technologies, thereby lowering implementation costs and offering a consistent customer interface independent monetization of the underlying access technology, be it xDSL, FTTx or WiMAX. With Express, service providers can more rapidly monetize the new network by simplifying the process of turning capacity into revenue-generating services.

Subex’s award-winning service fulfillment solutions enable service providers to quickly and easily define, create and activate new, high-margin services, resulting in sustained competitive advantage through enhanced service agility.

The new WiMAX-enabled Syndesis Express is available immediately.
