Sigma Systems Appoints Leading Industry Executive Gary Gibbs to Head Global Partner Strategy

Sigma Systems, (www.sigma-systems.com), the premier provider and leader in the design, development and deployment of OSS service management solutions, has appointed Gary Gibbs as Vice President of Channel Development to accelerate the company’s global partner initiatives.

“Gary’s outstanding channel and partnership management experience, coupled with his OSS and BSS industry expertise, provides a great foundation to lead our global business expansion objectives in OSS service management,” says Alex Salamon, Vice President of Global Sales, Sigma Systems. “Gary will help drive global expansion into new market verticals, diverse geographies and next-generation technologies fueled by new business, technology and delivery partnerships.”

Gibbs will formulate and execute Sigma’s Global Channels and Alliances Program to drive incremental top line revenue. In this position, he will manage Sigma’s channel development programs to optimize Sigma’s business expansion opportunities within the company’s expanding network of partners. He will be responsible for selectively recruiting new partners worldwide with a focus on building key relationships with system integrators, network equipment providers as well as complimentary software and application system vendors.

With Gibb’s deep experience in cultivating vibrant channel relationships, Sigma will focus on business partnership expansion and expanded revenue growth in strategic business growth areas such as residential and business VoIP, IMS, WiMax, Wireless and IPTV.

Based in Sigma’s United Kingdom office, Gary has two decades of experience in European and North American mobile, broadband and IP industries. His previous role was Vice President Global Channels and Alliances at Intec, where he led the partner strategy team to identify key global partners while formalizing, promoting and building sustainable partner relationships.
