SFR selects Highdeal Transactive Rating for Roaming-In Services

9:41 pm   -   December 14th, 2006

Highdeal, the world’s leading provider of pricing, rating and charging solutions today announces that SFR has selected Highdeal Transactive® to rate its “Roaming-In” services. SFR is the second largest mobile operator in France with over 17,5 million subscribers and is owned by Vivendi (56%) and Vodafone (44%).

Highdeal Transactive® is used to rate roaming events generated by foreign visitors roaming onto the SFR mobile network when in France . SFR has many hundreds of global roaming agreements generating many hundreds of millions of calls each year, which required a powerful, carrier grade rating engine.

“After evaluating a number of rating engines on the market, Highdeal Transactive clearly stood out as it provided the flexibility and high performance needed to meet the requirements of SFR’s vast network. In particular, the flexibility and speed at which we could create and modify price plans was second to none, and we were able to implement our extensive, complex roaming plans in less than two days. Highdeal Transactive has proven to be so user friendly that now even non technical financial managers are able to introduce new roaming tariffs and modify existing ones with this tool,” said Raphaël Bichon, Project Manager SFR.

Systems integration was carried out by the Sopra Group who provide and manage maintenance, integration and upgrades of the SFR mobile billing system. The Sopra Group is a key strategic partner of Highdeal and delivers a range of consulting and information technology services to enterprises throughout Europe .

“Highdeal is extremely pleased to be working on projects with SFR. Highdeal is helping brands such as SFR with their various rating needs by providing a future proof, next generation rating engine which is fast to deploy and easy to manage,” Eric Lavenir, EVP Sales, Highdeal.
