RateIntegration Launches PriceMaker for Loyalty Management

5:23 pm   -   August 21st, 2007

RateIntegration is launching “PriceMaker” for Loyalty Management. As a part of the launch, IDC, Sergel-TeliaSonera, Swisscom-Sicap and RateIntegration are hosting a webinar called “Loyalty in a Converged World”.

The web event will provide a strategic overview of loyalty management and explore how service providers can leverage the experiences of other industries using loyalty programs for greater customer satisfaction and retention.

RateIntegration, Inc., the leading provider of Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) solutions to the Communications, Entertainment, Information and Financial Services markets world-wide, has told OSS News Review that it will sponsor a webinar, “Loyalty in the Converged World” on September 6, 2007 at 10a.m.-11a.m. EDT (2p.m. - 3p.m. GMT)

The web event will provide a strategic overview of loyalty management in the communications industry and explore how convergent communications providers can leverage the lessons of other industries’ on using loyalty programs for greater customer satisfaction and retention. This opportunity is ripe with possibility, as evidenced by hugely popular points/rewards programs in other retail-focused industries. Last year, for example, American Airlines processed 4 million frequent-flyer awards in its program alone. Recent market studies indicate that US postpaid customers would be very receptive to similar programs driven by their telecommunications provider.

For the Webinar, Ms. Shira Levine, a senior OSS/BSS analyst at IDC, will provide market perspectives and lessons from other industries on loyalty; Mr. Magnus Lindgren, VP at Sergel-TeliaSonera, will discuss operational experiences at TeliaSonera regarding loyalty and advanced discounting and will present emerging requirements in this area within the competitive Scandanavian mobile market; and, finally, product management leads Dr. Bert J Dempsey, RateIntegration, and Mr. Stefan Stoffels, Sicap, will overview from a product management viewpoint the BSS challenges and illustrate how these challenges are met by an innovative new loyalty control platform from their companies.

The new RateIntegration-Sicap promotions and loyalty platform is based on RateIntegration’s highly-acclaimed PriceMaker Enterprise Pricing Server v8.0 – a leading-edge rules-based pricing platform in production use at over 20 major carriers around the globe.

As an overlay to existing BSS, the platform provides a quick, non-disruptive path for operators to take control of their valued customer relationships for improved customer satisfaction and for greater spend through promotions and partner affiliate programs and promotions.

In the new PriceMaker-based loyalty platform, operators can use all the power of PriceMaker’s unique spreadsheet-based rules system to roll out new promotions and loyalty logic within hours with its business-analyst-friendly user interface.

Further, the new offering leverages PriceMaker’s flexible, scalable, and configuration-driven architecture to provide very high-scale event processing and management, real-time interfaces as well as batch processing, and unlimited flexibility in promotions logic and other business rules. Additional on-platform features include scheduled time-triggered events, loyalty accounts, and on-demand points creation.
