Polystar OSIX Partners with Telchemy

5:03 pm   -   March 13th, 2009

Polystar OSIX, a leading supplier of Service Assurance and Network Performance Monitoring solutions, has recently announced a technology partnership with Telchemy®, Incorporated, the global leader in Voice and Video over IP performance management technology.

Polystar has successfully accomplished integration of Telchemy’s VQmon® quality assessment platform into its MediaProbe product. One area of uniqueness that MediaProbe with VQmon® provides is the ability to monitor calls that traverse networks, enabling accurate on-demand monitoring and reporting on both ongoing and completed calls. The MediaProbe, enhanced by the Telchemy Voice and Video over IP Performance Management Technology will enable network operators and service providers to monitor the quality of the media streams for Mobile Release 4, VoIP and IMS networks in real-time, to aggregate vast volumes of data for further processing, implement changes and hence to facilitate the proactive improvement in quality of customers` experience.

“Our unique solution automatically correlates the quality reports generated by VQmon for each RTP stream to control signalling, providing KQIs from an individual end-customer perspective,” said Thomas Vasen, Senior Product Manager at Polystar OSIX. “The MediaProbe provides an extensive set of KQIs enabling Customer-Centric Service Assurance for both voice and video services.”

“We are pleased to work with Polystar OSIX and to support their mission to deliver quality solutions to their customers.” said Dr. Alan Clark, CEO of Telchemy. “Our technology provides Polystar OSIX and their customers with actionable and accurate IP voice and video quality information in real-time and proactively monitors networks to detect any problems affecting user perceived quality.”
