Openet, a leading provider of active mediation, charging and rating solutions, has announced that the leading mobile operator in an Eastern Europe country is the latest addition to Openet’s ever expanding customer list. The operator, which has nearly 2 million subscribers and controls more than 50% of the mobile communications revenue and mobile Internet markets in its home country, will use Openet’s FusionWorks™ ActiveCharge and ActiveRate solutions to deliver convergent real-time pre and post-paid charging and rating platform for voice and data services.
The operator selected Openet as part of a broader initiative to deploy convergent OSS solutions. The Openet solution speeds time to market, increases potential revenue, and reduces the cost of deploying new services by enabling convergent charging and real-time rating across all services – pre- and post-paid, voice and data, content and transport – with a single software solution.
