Open Systems Strengthens Business Relations with Grupo Sala

Open Systems Corp™, leader in the development and implementation of BOSS solutions (Business and Operations Support Systems) for the public utilities and telecommunications industries, has told OSS News Review that Emas Panamá will opt for Open’s solution OpenSmartflex®ecoBOSS to integrate its different sanitation and garbage Collection services under a single customer information system.

Based in previous experience with Emas Pasto during the year of 2007 which proved the efficiency of the solution, the Grupo Sala decided on the acquisition of Open’s technological solution which evidenced an integral improvement of the invoicing and customer care operations by virtue of the versatility and flexibility of OpenSmartflex®ecoBOSS.

OpenSmartflex®ecoBOSS is a dynamic solution specialized in the basic sanitation sector designed for the optimization of the sales and customer care processes, invoicing, collections, work orders, garbage collection routes and final disposal of residues, capable of concentrating different tasks and visualizing customers at a single point by virtue of its convergence and flexibility.

The high integration level of Open’s solution will allow this company of the Grupo Sala to unify the provisioning of the different garbage collection, treatment and disposal of urban residues, improving customer care while at the same time reducing end user claims at this Panamanian Region.

OpenSmartflex is a critical mission solution which supports the entire operation and involving all areas of the public utilities companies. Its technological developments empowered EMAS Panamá to implement and configure the solution with their own resources, thus confirming once more the flexibility of the solution and the possibility to initiate autonomous operation by the customers.
