NuVox Communications Selects Syndesis for Convergent Service Delivery Management

10:13 pm   -   June 7th, 2006

NuVox Communications, a provider of voice, data, and security services to business customers throughout the Southeast and Midwest United States, has selected Syndesis from a competitive field for a multi-phase convergent service delivery management project. NuVox has successfully deployed Syndesis® TrueSource™, the world’s most widely deployed data integrity management solution, for auto-discovery and reconciliation across its communications network. The implementation is already providing business benefits, including a more accurate view of OSS/BSS data. NuVox looks forward to realizing additional benefits in service delivery and management. A future phase of the ongoing partnership will include the implementation of Syndesis® NetProvision™ to power VoIP service delivery and other next-generation offerings at NuVox.

“Syndesis will play a critical role in streamlining our operations and ensuring the integrity of our OSS data, thereby enhancing service delivery for our customers,” said Jeff Sivori, Vice President of Technology Development for NuVox Communications.

Currently in production at NuVox, Syndesis TrueSource is powering the auto-discovery of numerous network elements and reconciling the data against inventory and provisioning databases of record. Discrepancies between the network and these databases are being corrected, resulting in improved service delivery. This, in turn, is helping NuVox to offer faster time-to-service and ensure exceptional customer service.

“Syndesis has provided NuVox with the highest commitment to customer support by delivering everything they promised and more,” said Keith Coker, Chief Technology Officer for NuVox. “The first phase of this project was delivered and deployed on time and on budget. In addition, Syndesis readily shared its expertise and offered us advice stemming from their involvement and successes with other leading global communications service providers (CSPs). NuVox foresees a long and strong partnership with Syndesis.”

“We are thrilled to have partnered with NuVox and commend them for recognizing the business advantages and cost savings associated with a strategic convergent service delivery management plan,” said Chris Swan, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Alliances for Syndesis. “The technology team at NuVox was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable about the interworkings of their network, systems and customer base, making the implementation very smooth. Further, it gives us great pleasure to see our software address the very real business needs of today’s leading CSPs and to see providers like NuVox achieve such significant benefits from the successful implementation of Syndesis solutions.”
