NetCracker Wins 2008 Milestone Anniversary and Industry Award

12:14 pm   -   January 28th, 2009

NetCracker expected to enhance OSS leadership in 2009

NetCracker Technology received the 2008 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year award. The award comes with the firm’s 15 year anniversary where there has been a decade and a half of innovation and commitment to the communications industry.

“Our 15 year anniversary is an important milestone,” said Andrew Feinberg, President and CEO of NetCracker Technology. “Since its founding in 1993, NetCracker has carved out an influential position in the industry through its thought leadership, technological innovation, and unrivalled professional services.”

“Our customers have used NetCracker’s powerful solutions to transform their businesses, accelerate the order-to-cash cycle, and speed the delivery of revenue-generating services,” continued Mr. Feinberg. “We are proud that INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has recognized NetCracker’s innovation and the value we bring to our customers.”

Internet Telephony award validates NetCracker’s leadership

The organization’s Pasadena product release has been named the winner of Internet Telephony’s prestigious Product of the Year award.

Pasadena allows service providers to speed the delivery of complex next-generation services by managing Network and IT from a single platform. It reduces time-to-market for complex new services through data center infrastructure management and business activity monitoring. Built on NetCracker’s flexible, scalable, standards-based platform, Pasadena enables customers to deliver high-end products in a competitive market; achieve rapid ROI; reduce implementation, upgrade, and support costs; and drive down Total Cost of Ownership.

The award follows other important validations of NetCracker’s leadership position including a rapid succession of new customer wins at Mobinil (Egypt), Videotron (Canada), and VimpelCom (Russia and the CIS).

NetCracker’s anniversary is highlighted by unprecedented innovation and customer value. Following continuous growth as a privately held company, NetCracker became part of NEC Corporation in October of 2008. This merger is driving an aggressive business plan that will bring enhanced value to our current and future customers.

At events throughout 2009, the firm will share customer case studies that underscore its business transformation value proposition. In particular, NetCracker will share its customer success stories at Mobile World Congress and Management World Middle East, and will be the Platinum Sponsor at Management World 2009 in Nice.

NetCracker’s ability to transform the Service Layer and manage Network and IT from a single platform allows service providers to speed the delivery of complex new services. Using NetCracker’s flexible and scalable solutions, providers around the world have achieved rapid service delivery, streamlined operations, reduced costs, and created closer customer relationships.
