NetCracker Completes Critical Aspects of VimpelCom Group OSS Transformation

NetCracker Technology and VimpelCom Group (brand “Beeline“) has completed the first phase of OSS transformation at VimpelCom. The OSS Solution for VimpelCom includes such NetCracker modules as Resource Inventory, Discovery & Reconciliation, Outside Plant, and Order Management. NetCracker’s solution helps VimpelCom improve the overall efficiency and management of the network. Specific benefits include the following:

– Reduced operational expenses on VoIP and PSTN service activation through a reduction in the number of inventory systems

– Increased data quality as well as improved efficiency and accuracy of the service planning process through the creation of regular reconciliations with the live network

– Lowered IT support and maintenance costs through the consolidation and retirement of multiple legacy systems
