Mycom Wins Contract for Delivery of NIMS-PrOptima Performance Management Solution

9:10 am   -   March 26th, 2009

Mycom, a leading global provider of best-in-class OSS Service Assurance software solutions and innovative ICT engineering services to the telecoms industry, has signed a contract with Thailand’s CAT Telecom Public Company Limited (CAT) for the delivery of its Performance Management software solution, NIMS-PrOptima.

The Mycom software solution, which is being delivered across the Huawei CDMA access, circuit core and packet core networks, will allow full end-to-end monitoring of the entire network’s performance.

With the introduction of new services and a move towards convergence, CAT needed a scalable, future proof platform, with powerful analytical capabilities that allowed them to collect, view and evaluate performance and configuration data in near real time so that they were able to optimize the performance of the network and guarantee the best level of service to their customers.

The deployment of Mycom’s NIMS-PrOptima software solution will now enable CAT to benefit from increased operational efficiencies, CAPEX and OPEX savings as well as aid subscriber loyalty through the quality delivery of differentiated service offerings.

Mycom’s Mounir Ladki, General Manager, Product Business Unit said “Mycom is pleased to be selected by CAT as part of their strategic business transformation program. Mycom’s state of the art Service Assurance solution will enable CAT to optimize their investment in network resources, rationalize and simplify their OSS and reduce their costs while rapidly introducing new innovative services with an optimized customer experience. This will give them a strong edge in the competitive Thai mobile market.”
