Midcontinent Communications Extends Billing and Customer Care Contract with Convergys

Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in providing customer care, human resources, and billing services, announced today that Midcontinent Communications has extended for 5 years its contract for ICOMS, Convergys’ convergent voice, video, and data billing and customer care solution. The original contract was signed in 1998.

Midcontinent Communications, a provider of broadband Internet, digital and high definition television, and local and long distance phone service, supports connections in over 200 communities in North and South Dakota with Convergys’ solution. ICOMS is currently providing Midcontinent with control and flexibility to sharpen its competitive edge, expand its market penetration, and increase its revenues.
