Mexico’s Largest Cable Operator Selects Telarix

7:20 am   -   April 1st, 2009

Telarix, Inc., the leading provider of business information exchange and interconnect OSS/BSS solutions for content providers, IP service providers and global fixed and mobile operators, has recently announced that Mexico’s largest cable operator has deployed Telarix’s portfolio of interconnect business optimization solutions. The service provider will leverage Telarix’s iXTools® to manage their growing portfolio of services, including digital voice.

Built on a traffic agnostic platform, iXTools enables service providers to optimize, rate and bill for different types of traffic on their network such as TDM voice traffic as well as content and VoIP. In addition to deploying Telarix’s partner management and trade solutions, the cable operator will implement Telarix’s revenue assurance modules iXBill® and iXAudit®. By leveraging Telarix’s highly flexible interconnect billing system, iXBill, the service provider will be able to eliminate potential revenue leakage by ensuring that every type of traffic is captured, rated and invoiced correctly. Combined with Telarix’s end-to-end audit and dispute management system, iXAudit, the cable operator will be able to streamline the validation process, reconcile charges and manage settlements between multiple partners.

“To stay competitive, innovative service providers are deploying next generation interconnect business optimization solutions which enable them to quickly and efficiently launch, manage and bill for new products and services,” said Glen Kazerman, COO of Telarix. “By implementing iXTools, Mexico’s foremost cable operator will reduce costs, increase network efficiencies and enhance its ability to develop and deploy new revenue generating services.”

Telarix’s iXTools is a powerful suite of software modules that enables service providers to reduce costs and increase profitability across their interconnect networks. By analyzing both revenue and cost information associated with different types of traffic in near real-time, service providers can optimize network routing and identify financial risks and opportunities while ensuring that each traffic type is captured, rated and billed accurately. Today, Telarix’s leading interconnect OSS/BSS solutions are in use by emerging service providers, dominant regional players, and traditional incumbents in both the fixed and mobile industry.

The Yankee Group named Telarix as one of the only interconnect solutions providers to address the four critical value areas for service providers: Route Optimization; Pricing and Margin Management; Billing; and Verification, Audit and Reconciliation.
