New members endorse growth and expansion of “Company to Watch”

MetraTech Corp. is significantly ramping up its global sales and marketing team. The firm is growing rapidly in all areas because the company is making major advances in both traditional and new markets including communications, transportation, and financial services plus opening new regional headquarters in both Asia-Pacific and Latin America in 2008.

Adrian King, Product Marketing Director, previously held the position of Director, Market Strategy at Convergys and, before that, he was responsible for business development at Geneva Technologies. As one of the early employees at Geneva, Adrian was part of the team that successfully built the company prior to its acquisition by Convergys. He has extensive experience defining product and solution strategies in the fixed, mobile, and pre-paid markets. Based in MetraTech’s EMEA HQ in London, Adrian will be responsible for all aspects of the product marketing, positioning and strategic direction of MetraNet and its surrounding ecosystem.

Driving MetraTech’s sales effort in the APAC region is Jeffrey Tay Tseng Wha. An industry veteran with 18 years experience in communications markets, Jeffrey previously held the role of Vice President, Sales and Business Development for Wireless Data Services. Before that, Jeffrey held sales and marketing positions with Oracle and General Electric Corporation. Jeffrey will be based in MetraTech’s new Singapore office from where he will lead the company’s regional sales development.

With 10 years experience in the telecommunications industry, most recently as Business Development Director at e-Serv Global, Alexandre Ioachim will take up the role of Sales Director – Southern Europe with immediate effect. Based in MetraTech’s Paris office, Alexandre will drive MetraTech’s further growth into the European market.

At the same time, Ilian Hafouzov will assume the role of Sales Director, Central and Eastern Europe. Based in MetraTech’s Dusseldorf office, Ilian joins MetraTech from Formula Telecom Solutions. He brings extensive knowledge of and experience within the billing market in Central and Eastern Europe.

Lastly, Stefan Beck joins MetraTech in the role of Partner Director, EMEA. Also based in Germany, Stefan will be responsible for cultivating and managing MetraTech’s growing roster of both Systems Integrator and Network Equipment Provider partners. Stefan held several sales and business development roles in LHS and HighDeal from where he joins the company.

Vladimir Mitrasinovic, Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing, MetraTech Corp., observed, “In a macro economic situation that is generally considered to be difficult, MetraTech provides optimal solutions for service providers to monetize services and increase their customer satisfaction.”

Mitrasinovic concluded: “I am proud to see experienced industry leaders joining the company. It underlines the impact MetraNet is making in the market and, in 2008, that impact is being seen in our bottom line. This is a year of significant growth representing exciting times for our company, employees and customers who are using our products to lead their respective markets.”
