Meteor Mobile Communications Selects Ericsson Charging Solution

Meteor Mobile Communications has selected Ericsson’s real-time charging solution, Charging System CS3.0, for its combined GSM and 3G services in Ireland. Under the terms of the agreement, Ericsson has supplied Meteor with its Charging System 3.0, providing the mobile operator with functionality such as real-time costs and spending control, flexible special promotions capability and real-time bonus applications.

CS3.0 provides Meteor with a robust solution that will allow expansion of its services, improve current services including prepaid roaming and increase revenues. The solution is in full commercial service in Meteor’s network.
