Ivory Coast Operator goes live with Tango Telecom Convergent Charging Solution
Tango Telecom, the leading provider of advanced messaging and real-time charging solutions, has recently announced that a leading African operator has gone live with iAX™ Charge, its advanced convergent charging solution supporting Voice, SMS and Data services for pre and post paid subscribers.
iAX™ Charge is a market leading solution providing a comprehensive set of real-time charging features which can be deployed on any mobile network—GSM, TDMA/CDMA & 3G.
By implementing iAX™ Charge, the Ivory Coast operator has dramatically reduced its time to market for new services, rates and promotions and can now offer subscribers flexible and transparent price plans and hybrid schemes. iAX™ Charge combines high availability and scalability with real-time functionality and flexibility – providing operators with the power to aggressively grow their subscriber base and respond quickly to market changes.
iAX™ Charge also provides the broadest range of proven interfaces and policy control platforms in the marketplace, fully supporting prepaid and postpaid roaming access to voice, SMS and advanced data services.
The deployment includes Tango Telecom’s USSD Gateway which provides 2 way meaningful dialogue between subscribers and back end applications such as voucher recharge services, balance enquiries and content services.
