Infosim Unveils Scalable Service Assurance Solution

9:50 pm   -   December 17th, 2006

Infosim, a provider of scalable service assurance and service level management solutions, has released version 4 of its flagship product: StableNet Enterprise. StableNet Enterprise version 4 is a platform for service assurance management of large-scale and complex IT environments. StableNet version 4 is designed for distributed multi-vendor and multi-service networks and delivers superior performance management and more efficient event processing capabilities as well as extended reporting.

“We have listened carefully to market requirements and to our customers and responded by implementing a highly flexibility root-cause analysis technology.” said Dr. Koehler, Managing Director of Infosim. He added: “This, and a wealth of technological advances in version 4, will provide our customers with superior infrastructure monitoring at an unprecedented price-performance-ratio.”

StableNet Enterprise combines discovery/topology/inventory with detailed, real-time event management and effective performance management capabilities. Furthermore, StableNet’s tight integration provides a rich data store and advanced reporting facilities. It is easy to use, quick to deploy and cost effective. StableNet is based on open technologies and offers an industry re-defining licensing model that actually helps reduce the cost of managing large networks.

“After implementing Infosim StableNet, we are now able to immediately identify and fix problems before they affect service delivery — guaranteeing the highest possible service agreement levels.”, said Mr Eichmueller of Siemens AG.

“We rely on Infosim StableNet to manage our IT infrastructure. It gives us the ability to archive excellent service levels and to optimize cost as well as performance.” said Mr Schwierz of Hereaus.

Enhancements delivered in StableNet Enterprise version 4 include:
- New root-cause analysis module: facilitates advanced business service management and service quality management.
- Enhanced reporting engine: increase enterprise’s and services provider’s ability to plan, deliver, deploy, and assess new services and products.
- Usability improvements: cuts deployment costs and time and enhances productivity.
- Improved scalability: Up to 1 million concurrent active measurements with support for multi-timezone deployments.
- Extended reporting-portal: makes it easier for expert and non-expert users to retrieve meaningful information.

The StableNet family consists of three editions:
- StableNet Entry: Ideal for SMEs or as a workgroup solution
- StableNet Enterprise: For larger Enterprises, MNCs and public sector
- StableNet Telco: For ISPs, ASPs and data centre operator

StableNet Enterprise 4 is available immediately. Pricing information and product brochures are available upon request. The software runs on Linux (Red Hat, Fedora, Novell SuSE, Ubuntu), Sun Solaris 10 and Windows (2000, XP, 2003 Server).

Infosim StableNet provides real-time end-to-end visibility and accurate troubleshooting. Businesses benefit from the assurance that their networks, systems and applications are up and service levels are met. StableNet give organizations the security that their IT systems do support vital business processes and revenue generation. StableNet provides end-to-end support spanning applications, systems, triple-play, switches and routers, and enterprise management systems.
