Hub Télécom Implemented Highdeal for Pricing and Billing of its Services

9:54 am   -   April 8th, 2008

Highdeal has successfully deployed its solution at Hub télécom to manage the to real-time pricing and billing of its services.

Hub télécom focuses on strategic business sectors such as airports, exhibition and conference centers, ports, and transport hubs. With the company’s wide range of services including telephony, data transmission, mobile, multimedia, and IT services, Hub télécom meets the communications needs of their clients, serving over 1,400 companies and more than 150,000 users daily.

In 2007, Hub télécom decided to replace their billing system. They were looking for a robust, flexible and long-lasting solution that would give them the ability to quickly modify and introduce new services and increase over-all customer satisfaction while minimizing the number of manual processes, which were reducing productivity in the billing process.

After a comprehensive tender process in which seven leading vendors in the billing industry were evaluated, Hub télécom selected the Capgemini and Highdeal partnership. The great synergy between these two companies was a determining factor in Hub télécom’s decision. In addition, Capgemini and Highdeal offered a flexible, adaptable and user-friendly solution capable of incorporating Hub télécom’s current billing structure and of integrating new proposals (such as cross-selling or complex discounts), to correspond with the launch of new offers.

“Technically the Highdeal Transactive solution put forward by Capgemini was a perfect match for Hub télécom’s requirements; the two players provided all the guarantees required for a successful implementation of this solution,” said Youcef Meghira, Information Systems Projects Division Manager. “In the short term, the gains expected from implementing the Highdeal Transactive solution relate to better control and shortening of billing cycles, as well as greater
automation and an increase in the accuracy of bills produced,” he concluded.

“The choice of the combined Capgemini/Highdeal solution, now gives us the opportunity to put in place more complex and made-to-measure offers for our clients, in a very flexible manner, and to achieve greater convergence. We have been able to modernize our billing system, allowing us to adapt rapidly to changes in the business and to reduce our time to market,” added Youcef Meghira. “The varied nature of our solutions and services produces transactions which we have to process in real-time. From now on, thanks to Highdeal, we can offer our clients a highly tailored billing system which is a major competitive advantage.”

Commenting on this partnership, Eric Lavenir, Executive Vice President Sales EMEA at Highdeal said, “We are proud to be providing Hub télécom with the right tool to enable them to price and bill their services in real-time and with complete confidence. Indeed it is essential nowadays to respond quickly and effectively to market demands for new and innovative services, all-round offers and products. The Highdeal Transactive solution fits perfectly with the winning strategy for their business, which we are certain will be an enormous advantage to Hub télécom.”

“With its wealth of experience in billing tools, Capgemini was able to meet Hub télécom’s requirements. Capgemini has a lengthy list of references in this field, including previous projects with Highdeal, which helped us to win this contract,” concluded Jérôme Siméon, Sales Director for Capgemini Telecom & Media.
