Gartner Awards Comarch with High Rating in BSS Market Report

7:28 am   -   January 13th, 2010

Comarch’s offering for telecoms received a “Strong” rating from a leading analyst company’s BSS Market Overview and Strategic Scorecard for Vendors (2009).

Comarch, a global IT business solutions provider and systems integrator, employing over 3,500 people worldwide, announced today that it has been rated as “Strong” in the Gartner “Business Support System Market Overview and Strategic Scorecard for Vendors, 2009″, a report published on December 22nd 2009, that provides international BSS vendor comparison for service providers.

Gartner evaluated global vendors based on the scope of their products or services, market understanding, offering, geographic & sales strategies, market responsiveness as well as track record and general viability. The overall score is a summary of scores for individual criteria. Twelve vendors were evaluated in the Business Support Systems (BSS) report.

Comarch increased its position to “very strong” in the “Market Understanding” criterion where vendors’ ability to understand buyers’ wants and needs and the ability to translate these into products and services was assessed.

Comarch offers solutions with various deployment options (per-site licensed, SaaS, Managed Services) in order to support the service provider’s individual needs and various business models. This comprehensive product can reduce the operator’s time-to-market, as it facilitates service creation and thanks to its turnkey customer management functionalities it facilitates quicker responses to end users’ demands thus leading to elevated customer relations and enabling service providers to increase their customer base.
