Frost and Sullivan to Host Analyst Briefing on the Mobile Virtual Network Operators MVNOs

4:52 am   -   September 14th, 2006

The Information & Communications Technology Group at Frost & Sullivan will hold its Exclusive 2006 Quarterly Webinar on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. CDT / 3:00 p.m. EDT.

As competition in the mobile communications arena continues to build, the rise of MVNOs presents an opportunity for brand-strong entities, irrespective of their core business area, to play a significant role in the wireless services market without making investments in wireless infrastructure. Though fairly new to the wireless space in the U.S., MVNOs have made a popular impact in the industry with some key players such as Virgin Mobile, Boost and TRACFONE, having made an impact in a short time-span and some major names that sprung up, over the last one year, to join the bandwagon.

Highlights of the briefing include an analysis of the MVNO market in the U.S., MVNO trends, market size and forecasts, MVNO economics and emerging wireless technologies.

“MVNOs power themselves with key ingredients such as strong brand equity, market segmentation acumen and value-added product differentiation,” notes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Samir Sakpal. “However, the pulse of success for MVNOs lies in their indigenous marketing ability and customer relation ownership.”

Those interested in participating in the interactive webinar should send an email to Mireya Castilla - Corporate Communications at mireya.castilla@frost.com with the following information: your full name, company name, title, telephone number, email address, city, state and country. She will send the registration details via email upon receipt of the above information.

This briefing will strongly benefit wireless carriers, existing MVNOs, aspiring MVNOs, Mobile Virtual Network Enablers (MVNEs - constituting of content providers, OSS & BSS solutions providers, billing solution providers, etc.) and the financial community (financial analysts, investors and VC companies).
