6:33 pm   -   April 25th, 2006

cVidya Networks, a global leader of Telecom Data Integrity and Revenue Assurance Systems, today announced the appointment of cVidya’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Gadi Solotorevsky, to the TeleManagement Forum Advisory Board. Comprised of senior executives from a global cross section of the telecommunications industry including leading communications service providers, solution suppliers, and systems integrators, the TeleManagement Forum’s Advisory Board is an adjunct to the Board of Directors in which members are selected for their specific expertise and provide guidance to the board in their respective areas.

“It is an honor, both personally and professionally, to be invited to join the TeleManagement Forum’s Advisory Board,” said Dr. Solotorevsky. “The TeleManagement Forum considers revenue assurance to be a key issue in the OSS/BSS space given its importance to service providers today. Through the TM Forum’s Collaboration Program, I will use my experience to provide strategic direction for solving the industry’s revenue assurance challenges. In addition, participation in the forum’s Advisory Board will provide cVidya Networks with a unique position to garner insight into the day-to-day challenges and issues facing the operator community.”

Dr. Solotorevsky has already made significant contributions to the work of the TM Forum as a Team Leader for both the Revenue Assurance(RA) collaboration team and the “Revenue Assurance Catalyst” demonstration project, focused on the deployment of effective RA processes across various activities, systems and network technologies. Dr. Solotorevsky also took part in the “Sarbanes Oxley Compliance through Next Generation OSS” in which cVidya’s MoneyMap® software solution successfully showcased how telecom operators can reduce the costs of compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Currently, Dr. Solotorevsky is contributing to the “IPTV Impact on FAB” Catalyst project in which Swisscom AG will be using the NGOSS framework to implement their IPTV OSS/BSS system, including a revenue assurance component supplied by cVidya Networks.

“With his wide ranging expertise and real life experience in revenue assurance Dr. Solotorevsky’s appointment as an Advisory Director is an important addition to the TM Forum’s Advisory Board. As the organization that drives the industry, this type of appointment enhances the TM Forum’s ability to increase our expertise and leadership in the revenue assurance arena,” said Martin Creaner, TeleManagement Forum’s CTO.
