12:23 pm   -   March 27th, 2007

NetCracker Technology has successfully implemented Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) solutions for TRE-FOR Utilities, one of Denmark’s largest and most efficient utility companies. Realizing the critical role that a flexible OSS plays in managing its new network environment, TRE-FOR is now offering increased services to its customers through NetCracker’s Triple Play Solution.

TRE-FOR now offers its customers complex Triple Play services including voice, video, and data. “The software and implementation expertise of the NetCracker team has enabled us to deploy the Triple Play services in a timely and cost-effective manner,” said Keld Damsbo, Chief Technology Officer at TRE-FOR. “Our partnership with NetCracker has enabled us to meet our number one goal, which is to seamlessly provide our customers with the most sophisticated services.”

TRE-FOR has currently deployed NetCracker’s Resource Inventory, Service Inventory, and Provisioning & Activation modules. Resource Inventory is being used for Physical and Logical Inventory Management, IP Address Management, MAC Address Management, and CPE Management. Service Inventory provides Service Catalogs and Service Templates for Triple Play services. TRE-FOR is also using NetCracker’s telecom aware workflow and design and assign functionality.

“We are extremely pleased to be a part of the business transformation that TRE-FOR has undergone,” said Andrew Feinberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of NetCracker Technology. “The NetCracker OSS portfolio deployed at TRE-FOR is a prime example of how our Triple Play applications and domain expertise provide a scalable approach to deliver innovative services over next generation networks.”

TRE-FOR is one of several significant implementations that contribute to NetCracker’s Triple Play Industry Solution. NetCracker Industry Solutions are vertical applications built on top of its core products, that combine best-in-class applications with best practices and standardized templates to enable faster deployment of a range of new infrastructure and services.
