Denmark Utility Giant TRE-FOR Goes Live with NetCracker Triple Play Solution

NetCracker Technology has successfully implemented Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) solutions for TRE-FOR Utilities, one of Denmark’s largest and most efficient utility companies. Realizing the critical role that a flexible OSS plays in managing its new network environment, TRE-FOR is now offering increased services to its customers through NetCracker’s Triple Play Solution.

TRE-FOR now offers its customers complex Triple Play services including voice, video, and data. “The software and implementation expertise of the NetCracker team has enabled us to deploy the Triple Play services in a timely and cost-effective manner,” said Keld Damsbo, Chief Technology Officer at TRE-FOR. “Our partnership with NetCracker has enabled us to meet our number one goal, which is to seamlessly provide our customers with the most sophisticated services.”

TRE-FOR has currently deployed NetCracker’s Resource Inventory, Service Inventory, and Provisioning & Activation modules. Resource Inventory is being used for Physical and Logical Inventory Management, IP Address Management, MAC Address Management, and CPE Management. Service Inventory provides Service Catalogs and Service Templates for Triple Play services. TRE-FOR is also using NetCracker’s telecom aware workflow and design and assign functionality.
