Cricket Communications Chooses TEOCO’S ViewLogic System to Automate Network Cost Management

3:28 pm   -   October 20th, 2007

TEOCO, the #1 provider of network cost management, revenue assurance and business intelligence solutions to the communications and entertainment industry, recently announced that Cricket Communications, Inc., the operating subsidiary of Leap Wireless International [NASDAQ: LEAP], has implemented TEOCO’s world- class ViewLogic software in an outsourced model.

As a customer-focused company providing innovative mobile wireless services targeted to meet the needs of customers who are under-served by traditional communications companies, Cricket needed to move from a manual to an automated invoice processing environment. With operations in 23 states and multiple invoice processing sites, Cricket needed a solution that would provide consistency across regions and a streamlined, systemized approach to invoice management, auditing and reporting. To maximize the productivity of their network cost management operations and staff, Cricket has deployed ViewLogic in an outsourced model. TEOCO is also providing Cricket with electronic media coordination services to boost electronic invoice receipt, along with auditing and training services.

“TEOCO’s ViewLogic is the ideal choice for Cricket’s network cost management function,” said Dan Graf, Director of Interconnect for Cricket Communications. “We selected TEOCO because of their strong industry experience and the flexibility of their software solutions, which allow us to leverage multiple delivery approaches as we grow and evolve.”

“TEOCO is proud to supply Cricket with ViewLogic to help them transition to an automated cost management environment and increase their cost saving potential,” said John Devolites, Vice President at TEOCO. “The business and financial benefits achieved by Cricket as a result of their ViewLogic implementation will help them maintain their position in the competitive U.S. wireless market.”
