Convergys President COO David F. Dougherty Elected to the Board of Directors
Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a provider of customer care, human resources, and billing services, has announced that David F. Dougherty, its President and Chief Operating Officer, has been elected to its Board of Directors.
Dougherty, a 16-year veteran of the company, was appointed to his current position in September 2005. He is responsible for all Convergys’ businesses including customer care, human resources, and billing services, for accelerating the growth of the company, and for coordinating the strategies of the various business units to leverage their strengths and integrated solutions. He reports to James F. Orr, Convergys’ Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
