Convergys Consolidates MTS Allstream’s Billing and Customer Care Operations

Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer care, human resources, and billing services, has announced that MTS Allstream Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. (TSX: MBT) has implemented Convergys’ Infinys [tm] software for rating and mediating its wireless data usage services. MTS Allstream is one of Canada’s leading communications providers.

Convergys completed the first stage of the implementation for MTS Allstream’s wireless data business and is now implementing Infinys software for order management, rating, and mediation management to support its wireline voice services.

MTS Allstream licensed the full suite of Infinys comprehensive, convergent, business support software from Convergys for use across its lines of business. Convergys’ professional and consulting organization is assisting MTS Allstream with a modernization of all its billing operations.
