Comptel Wins Stratecast Global Billing Mediation 2007 Award

3:27 pm   -   April 25th, 2007

Comptel Corporation (OMX Helsinki: CTL1V), the leading vendor of dynamic Operational Support System (OSS) software, has won the “2007 Stratecast Global Billing Mediation Responsive To Customer Needs Award”, awarded by leading industry analyst Stratecast, a division of Frost & Sullivan.

According to Stratecast, the “Global Billing Mediation Responsive to Customers’ Needs Award is bestowed upon the company that has demonstrated flexibility in tailoring their product offerings to suit their customers’ business needs. The recipient company developed and implemented new product lines that set unprecedented standards for meeting their customers’ needs. The recipient company has also shown tremendous responsiveness to customer needs and has continually focused on long and short-term customer profitability goals”.

In its “Billing Mediation Sector Assessment” report, Stratecast highlights 3 main reasons for the selection of Comptel: monitoring and responding to customer feedback; improvement in customer satisfaction level; and ability to grow in a changing market.

Stratecast concludes: “Stratecast considers Comptel an industry leader in the mediation sector. One of the primary reasons for this leadership is Comptel’s responsiveness to the needs of its customers and its willingness to enter new lines of business to support the needs of those customers. The result is a product set that makes Comptel a leader in the mediation space by providing functional synergies and cost savings to its customer base.”

Ms. Arnhild Schia, SVP Market Development for Comptel says: “We are absolutely delighted that our leadership in mediation has been recognised by such a leading OSS analyst organisation. It’s particularly pleasing for us that this award focuses on Comptel’s responsiveness to our customers. Over the years, we have built very strong long-term relationships with our customers. Our reliable delivery and ‘partnership for the future’ approach has been a key to our success.”
